Trip to London

This year I went to London with my friends and my high school teachers. I did a video and here you can see our incredible trip.

Abbreviations, the new vocabulary

Nowadays young people use a lot new technologies and these things are good but others are not really so good, because they begin to write with strange symbols and a lot of people can't understand them. They use abbreviations, abbreviations are one or two letters which represent a word.

Now I'm goingo to write two texts one oly with abbreviation and another with all the words.

            Hi, imho d WKND ws xlnt n I gtc u b4 2 c a/b bq yr tb.

                                      xxx lol xxx.

This is the message with abbreviations and now the wole sentence.

           Hello, in my opinion the wekend was excellant and I go to see you befire seeing anybody else               because you're the best.

         Kiss, kiss, kiss   lots of love   kiss, kiss, kiss.

This is only and example but I think you can write a very long message only with abbreviations, for example young people write this way not only the sms or whatssaps, also they write their notes, and I think this is very difficult, because you need to know a lot about abbreviations to do taht. Because I think if I do taht with my notes I can't understand anything. 

The bag

What I found on the street that day changed my life for ever. 

I was going to a party when I found a really strange bag next to my car. I didn't  know what things were insidu, for that reason I decided to open it when I looked inside I found a lot, a lot, a lot of money.

At the first moment I didn't know what I was going to do but then I went to the police station and I left the bag with all the money.

After some days a very beautiful young man appeared in front of my door. I didn't know who the boy was. He introduced himself and he explained to me what had happened with his bag. The boy was really polite and he invited me to dinner.

We met another and another time and finally he explained to me he was a very rich man and he was looking for the perfect woman and when I arrived with the money bag he found the woman: me. He proposed to get married to me I accepted and now we are a really beautiful and rich couple.

All my life changed only for a simple bag. 

Football, the only sport?

Football is a sport that consist of kicking a ball, men before a ball.

Is this simple thing so important?

In my opinion it is not so important because nowadays we can see and practice more sport. It's true football is not only running because the team need a coach and practice a lo, but I think sports are very varied but we need to know more about them.
For example here in Alt Emportdà a lot of people are supporters of rythmic gymnastic, and I think is as important as foorball or other sports.
We should change the mind of some people becuase all sports need some recognition.

My life... is only a work art

Some years ago when I saw a work of art I only saw a picture but now when I see a work of art I feel a lot of things, very beautiful things. 

I have seen some exhibitions but the most incredible museum I went was the National Gallery. In that museum you can see some different styles. Some works of art like Turner's ship or sun flower of Van Gogh are really spectacular when you see them. They remind you a photo, a digital photo.

On the other hand I'm never going to be an artist but I love art for that reason I'm going to do a history art degree.

Another important thing about art is that it can help us to learn more about our culture we need knowledge because if we have knowledge we can improve the world.

For that reason I think we need to introduce more art in out life. 

He need MONEY, MONEY, MONEY

John didn’t know where he would get the Mmoney he needed. He had an interesting reason for it.

The story began when he visited a poor village located at IN south Catalonia. In this village there were many children who couldn’t go at the to school. His idea was to collect money in order to build a school.

When John returned at home, he has started to meet with different organizations and he achieved some resources for it, but unfortunately not the enough, he needed more!!.

One day while he was walking he had a good idea: his siser's husband was a rich man and perhaps he and her HIS sister would like interested with in this question.

John had organized a meeting and he explained then his project to them and how they could collaborate. A few days later John received a call from his brother-in-law. He said he was excited about the opportunity to help children as long as the new school bring  his name. As building the new school was the most important, John accepted the condition.

My strange story

It was 5 in the morning and there was a knock at the door and my dog began to bark.

I got up and I went to the door to see what happened.I live with my wife Maria and also we have a dog, Sultan.We live in a big old house with garden in the countryside, at 10 Km. from the airport.

I saw a young couple, a man and a girl, who looked very nervous. She told me that their car had broken down and they needed to go to the airport and fly to Paris urgently because her mother was very ill.

They also asked me if I could take them to the airport because the plane took off at 6 am. and they don`t  have time to call a taxi.

I took my car and took  them to the airport,they were just carrying a big suitcase.

I left them in front of the departures  door and went home. On the way home, I heard on the radio that a young couple had robbed a bank and hurt a policeman.When I arrived home I phoned to the police and told them what had happened to me.

Dear Mary,

I'm really happy because I went to London and I had the possibility to do to your house and this is really important for me.

Your house is very beautiful, the sofaa is really confortable and the bed is really sweet I could rest very erll, after visiting a lot of things. I visited some typical places like Big Ben, the Globe or Saint Paul Cathedral but the most beautiful things I visited was a typical English market; in that place I could see very different things but all of them are beautiful. 

I remember the trip witha very bug smile but I had a problem with your neighbour because they had a dog and I have allergy to dogs and the animal. when I stayed at home, came with me. 

To finish with the problem i talked with them and we decided to leave the dog out of the building.

That is the only problem, the other things were really good. For that I would like to say, again, thanks.

Justin Guarini

Since last year we need to do some comments in differents blogs about our classmate. Now we are going to finish the high school and I will talk about this thing, the comments. 

Comments are your oppion about something, in our case it's about posts, the post of your classmate.

I think, as saying Justin Guarini, the comments probably can be a good thing becuase with that we can improve some things (the use of english, the appearence of the bog...), and the comments of our parents are good because we see they reed our post and we are important.  

However for me the comments can be bad. I think are bad so that sometimes when you reed a post of our partners you feel very sad because you think and realize your post are hideous. I know you can improve it but it's very sad if you can not improve it because you don't have the level to do it. That feeling appeare and you can't change it. 

To sum up and it's only my opinion for me the comments depends of the blog but in general are bad, with that you only feel bad. 

Mr.Nuttel's story

This is a short summary of a short story I know it's not a news but I read and do it. I hope you enjoy the story if you would read all the story click here!

While Mr. Nuttel was staying in the country side to treat his illness, he went to visit the Sappleton's family. It was good until Vera began to explain a story about her aunt's tragedy.

She told him that one day her aunt's husband went shooting with his younge brothers and they never returned. They sank in a terrible bog and nobody found their bodies.

Her aunt believed that they would come back some day and fot that she was waiting for them with the windows open.

Suddenly aunt came in and they talked about Mr. Nuttel's illnesses. After a while he looked at the garden and saw three men shadows. Immediately he ran out without any goodbye. 

In the end the men arrived home and one of them, Mr.Sappelton asked his wife who the man who ran out was.

Mrs. Sappleton answered him the man was Mr. Nuttel and he only came to speak about his illnesses. And she didn't know what he had run out. 

Surprisingly Vera told them he ran out because he had had a bad experience with dogs and probably when he saw the dog that came with them he remembered all and he decided to go out.

I choose this story becuase for my it's very interesting and I enjoy a lot. 

My best coincidence

Nowadays I'm in a relationship with a very incredible boy, Pablo. About this relationship I'm going to explain some coincidences which happened to us. We began to be friends when we entered the high school but we had met some years before. During four years we were only friends, and not special friends, it's true that he was always one of the most important friends in my life but I couldn't imagine some years after he could become my boyfriend. Another and for, us the most important coincidence, is when we want to the same primary school but we had never met(and in primary school there were only three classes). For me he didn't exist and years after one day when I went to his house and I watched a project about "arts and photos" I recognised the school and the project and we were really surprised because probably we could meet before but the destiny joined us in the high school. For us, these coincidences are very special because we see them as a sign of out we need to stay together. 

¿Romantic Horror story? Maybe...

John, Alisson, Markus and Peter woke up in the middle od Central Park. They didn't remember anythingof the day before. They had met in a trip to Japan three months ago. They looked around and realised Mary and Carla weren't with them. All of them had travelled togerthe from Japan to New York.
In that moment Peter saw a strange thing on the floor:

-What is this? -said Peter-.

They recognised Mary's ring put in a finger. They get scared ans suddenly they saw a man who was raning away. Markus and Peter were the boyfriends od Mary and Carla. For that reason they started to run behind that to ask him if he knew anything about the girls. While they were taning they sae Mary and Carla who were craying and Mary had a lot of blood in her hands and in her cloths.

-When you were sleeping after the party a man appeared and cut my finger with my ring -said Mary-.

 And Carla said:

 -Please go away and phone the police!

The most difficult decision

Nowadays a lot of my classmate and I need to take one of the most difficult decisions in out life. We need to decide which tyoe of degree we will do. It is one of the most important decision because it marks, probably, all or a very important part of our life because we are going to decide what thing we want to do in the future.

With this decision all of us are thinking in our perfect job. Probably a lot of people think it is an easier decision but is not because we have a lot of options ans noboby knows what is the best. For that all the poeple say: You need to choose your preference not the most viable because if you do not choose your preference you do a bad job.

I think they are right and all of us need to follow this advice. 

La vella Firenze

My last birthday, (3 of February), my parents gave me some diferent presents but for me the most important was the trip to Firenze. I have always wanted to go to Firenze and my parents made this reality. 

Now I will talk about the beautiful city.

Firenze is one of the most interesting cities because it has a very long history and some of the most beautiful artwotk, that's why I want to visit this city.

Probably I will visit for example the Church of Santa Maria di las flores or the Uffizi Gallery. These things are very interesting and I will encourage everyone to visit them it is a good opportunity. 

31 of 2013!!

Today is the last day of the year!!!
It's the day to turn back and muse on the things we propose. Are they ok? Probably all not but we tried. We did a lot of things, for example we did exercise, we began with english and other thing...
Besides it's a day to stay with the familiy, with the friends and begin the new year all together.
The girls wearing their beautiful dresses and make up, they will a good first day.

Around the world people do very differents traditions many of that are these:

In Spain people eat twele grapes with each peal.
In Argentina people run away to open their presents after a toast at midnight after drink cava or sidra.

The Mexicans sweep their houses from inside to outside for clean the house of pollutants.

In Chile people eat a spoonful of lentils, although they break an egg on a glass for bring the good luck tto the people.

In Costa Rica if your put a little purpple flower (Santa Lucía) in your wallet the money all the year stay with you.

Americans when the clock paly the last bell they kiss their partners, you can see this specially in Times Square.

I choose these traditionals but if you would know more about you can read this articles, they are in spanish but they are very interesting.

Yes, I use a prezi it's a good idea if you will a dynamic presentation. I use photos, video and all of things to improve the presentation, not only text.

Are there just key words to explain your message?
Yes, there are. Only specific words. I write only the title of the section.

Body language & eye contact (10%): 1 point
Are you looking at your audience most of the time?
Yes almost always. First probably less than the finally because with the time a felt more sure an I had more confidence in myself.

Are you reading occasionally from your notes ?
Yes, I knew it in sometimes but more occasionally. Only for a technical terms.

Structure (10%): 1 point
Do you organize your ideas in order of importance (chronological order), with different parts?
Yes, I do. My presentation have a introduction for present the topic, beauty I do it with a video. Seconf have an argument when I explain all important things and a conclusion for collect all ideas with a simple quote.

Content (40%): 3 points
Do you introduce new information to your audience?
Yes, I do, chose this theme because I think it's very interesting for the audience because mini misses shows are not very comun here, in Spain, and I think there are interestinc topic. Finally I relate it with the big theme: beauty.

Is your information detailed and comprehensible?
Yes, but in sometimes when I saw the people I don't know because they do a very strange face.

Do you give/show examples?
If I gave some examples and I put a different images for reflex what I explain.

Is your grammar correct, complex (verbs, word order, tenses learnt in class)?
I don't know but I believe this part it's possible to improve too much because when I spoke in public I'm very nervous and change the words.

Is your vocabulary rich, varied with linkers (and, but, also, although...)?
Yes, but it's possible improve, because now I know more vocabulary, but in general I put some new expressions and I'm happy of it.

Do you know how to pronounce all your words?
If I'm wrong but somewhere a bit in the pronunciation

Dou you speak in a fluid continuum or with breaks and interruptions?
There was no interruption even though I was pretty nervous, I now in this moment I was hill and probably the fluency change it with the moment.

What have you done well? What do you need to improve?
For me this has been a very good presentation. And I think it went well. Because I had prepared. Although I think that would have to improve something like not get nervous or better pronunciation. But in general I liked the presentation.

My anecdote

This is the story of something that happened to me when I was about 8 years old.

At that time I was living in Empuriabrava and I was studying third of primary school. I used to play with my friends,  play the guitar and also I do gymnastics in my free time. I loved to play the guitar and nowadays I love it.

I remember my first day of guitar lessons, I had a very beautiful teacher, Ricard. I learnt a lot and so fast. One day this teacher disappeared and I met my new guitar teacher, she was bad for teaching me because I couldn't learn anything with her. I worked and I leant slower than with my first beautiful teacher. For that reason after a few months suffering with this woman I lost passion. I was angry and I argued with her. I loved to play the guitar but I hated her method.

She called my parents and they talked to me about my reasons, but I didn't come to any conclusion. So they forced me to continue doing guitar lessons with that stupid teacher. I was very sad.

Therefore finally I left the guitar lessons without the consent f my parents, nobody asked for me in the class and my teacher was happy because I, her troublemaker, gave the lessons up.

I never talked again with the teacher and I felt better. Basically since then I didnt' play the guitar again but now I propose to start playing again internet lessons. I know it's difficult but I can do it!

An old friend...

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my old school friend appearing on TV. I was doing the ironing when I saw James. He appeared in the news because he won the Spanish Christmas' lotto and he explained what he would do with this money.

Immediatly I felt shocked because he looked very changed, more handsome than before. When we were young, he used to wear heavy clothes but in that moment he was wearing a suit he looked healthier.

Then I remember the school time. At the time met a lot of buddies but he didn't use to make friends becuase he was very embarrassed. He only stayed alone. We weren't friends but we had a classmate realtionship. 

First I felt very jealous but then I felt very delighted because his life became better. Eventually I tried to get in touch with him and began a friendship because I felt badly dor the old times.

Nowadays we are good friends.
